What should I do at the scene of the accident?
If there are no injuries, drive your vehicle to a safe area. Call 9-1-1 immediately if anyone has been injured. Exchange your names, addresses, insurance company names, policy numbers and driver’s license numbers. Obtain the names and contact information of any witnesses. It is also recommended to take photos of all vehicles involved as well as the location and surroundings of the collision for future reference.

I’ve been in an accident and my car requires repairs, what should I do?
Contact your insurance company to initiate a claim. Have your insurance papers, driver’s license, a note pad, and a pen handy. Once you have been given a claim number, bring your vehicle to Collision Express Center to drop it off whenever it is convenient for you.
I think my car is unsafe to drive, how should I get it to Collision Express Center.
Make sure you mention to your insurance adjuster that the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Collision Express Center will gladly arrange for your car to be towed when it is convenient for you.

Will I be given a replacement vehicle?
In most cases, we can provide you with a replacement vehicle. You must be 19 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a credit card. Your credit card won’t be charged and will only be used for security purposes. If you require a larger vehicle, we can arrange the rental if you have purchased loss-of-use coverage in your insurance policy.

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
The amount of time it takes Collision Express Center to repair your vehicle depends on a number of variables. Once our Damage Analysis specialists have inspected your vehicle and the parts have been confirmed, we will be able to provide you with an estimated completion date.

Will I be contacted throughout the repair process?
Our customer service team will ask you how often you would like to be contacted throughout the repair process. We will gladly give you a call, or send you an email or text as often as you would like.

What if the frame of my car is damaged?
Collision Express Center is equipped to return a vehicle’s repairable frame to its original condition. Today, most modern cars do not have full frames but are constructed using a uni-body design. Collision Express Center employs the latest uni-body and frame repair equipment from Car-O-Liner, which utilizes a laser measuring system to ensure your cars’ uni-body is returned to its original condition.

What should I do if my vehicle is still under the manufacturer’s warranty?
Choosing Collision Express Center to repair your vehicle does not affect the manufacturer warranty. Collision Express Center Lifetime Guarantee covers the repairs we conduct on your vehicle for as long as you own your vehicle. Any of the parts we replace are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Do I have to pay a deductible?
If you are at fault in the accident or are making a comprehensive claim, you are responsible for paying the deductible amount stated in your insurance policy. Even if you are not at fault, you may be required to pay the deductible until liability is completely resolved. Once complete, your insurance company will reimburse you.

How do I care for my freshly painted vehicle?
Wash fresh paint by hand with mild soap and water. Be sure to rinse off as much dirt as possible with a water hose before washing the panels using a soft cloth. Collision Express Center recommends not waxing or applying sealant products for at least three months after your vehicle has been painted.
